okay well they arent shoes but they are flip flops and I can hardly walk. I have cuts on my feet; it doesnt suprise me after walking in them for five hours at the mall. I felt bad though because Melissa called and wanted to hang out but I told her about my plans and I told her if I got back early I would call her. Didn't exactly get back early.
At twopm I was still at Grams and I still hadn't had breakfast. Papa declined to picking me up even though I didn't have any clothes other than something I definetely shouldn't walk in public in. But of course he thought I was just making excuses and I was in such a hurry that I was about to walk. Nicely Michael offered to drive me in his AWESOME convertable. Only my second time in it. Literally.
As soon as I arrived at Bumus and after I said thank you to Michael I had a rasberry lemon muffin. Was I ever freakin' hungry. I had a shower, got dressed, put on some mascara and lip gloss. Then I called Katie and told her to be ready in 10 minutes and that my Dad would be driving us to Oshawa Centre.I put on my butterfly necklace from a couple of years back, sprayed some purfume on myself and brushed my teeth. Dad said I smelled amazing. Bumu only gave me one hundred dollars. I know that sounds a bit spoiled but it is not so spoiled when you have 0 pairs of jeans, no shirts, no shoes other than a crappy pair of flip flops which y'all already know and just threw out 75% of your closet.
Katie and I tried on a whole bunch of clothes at every good store. I remember going to H&M and finding the cutest black dress ever. It was casual too :) I tried it on and I fell in love with it. It was on sale for $35. Sadly, I had to hide the last one in my size in between a weird suit thing from the seventies that Katie tried on.
I remember going to a store called D-TOX and we both loved it. They had awesome t-shirts. Two that I am definetely buying. One that has Sheldon on it from Big Bang Theory and the other one says Fuck You all over it. But it has a cool design... lol. The store also had two really cute headbands-; one of them with a big blue bow. They had awesome glasses which I am getting a few of when I go to the mall again next week.
I could go on and on about all the stores I went to but I am going to skip to the one where I actually bought something- Garage. I went in and just started piling cute things in to my arms. Everything I tried on I bought exept for a button up and a t-shirt. So I gathered all the stuff I was buying and brang it to the counter. I kept the last outfit I tried on, on and she cut off all my tags. I told her when the price reaches 100 to just put the rest on hold till the end of the day. She was like well the outfit your wearing cost $103.01 and I was like WTF! Later on when I left I figured out something Patti was picking us up when the mall closed. 6pm. So we found the nearest payphone and I tried to call them. No one answered neither at home or at the work. It was about 5:22 by the time we checked out LuLu's and bought I Love Boobie bracelets from boathouse. 3 for $15.
Then it was 5:40 and I called Papa's cell because I figured they must be out for Dinner. I told Bumu of how I needed more money, etc. Afterwards Katie and I were waiting outside of Sears for my grandparents to arrive and finally they did like 9 minutes before Garage closed. We all didn't think we were going to make it but we did. Thank God! It only took us two hours to find everything we wanted. Lol. It came to $170 over top of the $100 I spent earlier. But we got three free $25 Garage giftcards because every purchase over $50.
Katie and I only got one picture sadly on Katie's phone before it died. I will make sure to post it to this post later. I will also post Abby's First Do-It-Herself haircut. Didn't end up so good. Katie and I have a whole bunch of traditions and one of them is to get our photo taken in the photobooth at the mall. We didn't this time but to make up for it we also started a new tradition; having smoothies at Teaopia. Or a looseleaf tea.
